Club Penguin Warfare 2: Fallen Heroes
Club Penguin Warfare: Book Two: Fallen Heroes
Chapter 1: Destruction
BOOOM! The bomb exploded, knocking me a couple of feet to the entrance to the Snow Forts. I hit the ground hard, and closed my eyes. I didn’t want to see what had happened to the Plaza.
I opened my eyes. The Pet Shop was nothing but chunks of rubble. The roof of the Stage had been blown off, and what was left of it was on fire. The Pizza Parlor wasn’t much better. The roof had collapsed, causing the walls to break down, and rubble had rolled into the plaza.
I got up. My eyes burned because of all the ash and dust that was now in the air. “Fox!” I yelled, hoping that she would respond. No answer. “FOX!” I yelled again. This time I got an answer.
Gunfire.
“The bots,” I said to myself, and I turned and ran into the Snow Forts. The situation wasn’t much better there, though. The two forts had been reduced to nothing, and the Clock Tower had exploded. But I kept running.
When I was a couple yards from the entrance to the Town, I managed to make out a figure. The figure was standing directly in the entrance to the Town, blocking me off. When I went to load my gun, I tripped over a dead penguin, and landed face down in the snow.
“Whose there?” demanded the figure, loading their gun and running toward me. I recognized the voice. “Kt! You’re alive!” I yelled as I stood up. “Tylo? Where’s Fox and Saint?” asked Kt. Now that we were standing infront of eachother, I could see his face. He looked worried.
“Saint’s dead, and Fox is missing,” I responded, reliving the last couple of minutes. “Well we better go find Fox, and then contact Dryvit,” responded Ktman, but I stopped him when he tried to run to the Plaza.
“We can’t go there, the bots have occupied it,” I told him. “Fine, let’s go back to the Town. The Bots have occupied there too, but there’s a lot of rubble for us to hide behind. And besides, we can actually SEE there.”
Ktman and I ran back to the Town. And he was right. Even though we could see better, there wasn’t much to see.
Each building was a pile of rubble (except for the Coffee Shop, whose front wall was still standing). Chunks of rubble and dead soldiers filled the streets. And weaving around the rubble were the bots.
“Move!” Kt whispered urgently, and we ducked down behind a pile of rubble. We managed to make it to a large chunk of rubble infront of the Coffee Shop without the bots seeing us. And that’s when we found him.
“Packer!” I whispered as me and Ktman got down beside him. “Are you okay?” “I’m fine,” whispered Packer, who looked relieved to see us, “but most of the ACP isn’t. The bots came through and massacred at least half of us.” “Well, we better stay here for now,” I said, and we watched as the bots made there way to the Snow Forts.
As the bots got closer to the Snow Forts (there were about thirty bots in all), we saw them firing at random penguins who had been unlucky enough to have been caught in the explosion. We could hear their yells as the bots killed them off one by one.
“Don’t be stupid,” said Ktman as he pulled me back down when I got up to go fight the bots, “it would be suicide.” “He’s right,” said Pack, who looked a little glum because we couldn’t do anything. That’s when Thomas appeared.
Thomas ran out from behind a large piece of rubble, firing at the bots. He managed to kill a couple of them before they retaliated. They all fired at Thomas, and after a couple seconds, he got shot in the leg. He fell down behind a piece of rubble, and didn’t get back up.
“Alright, we have to go save Thomas!” I said urgently to Ktman and Packer, who both seemed to have been thinking the same thing. “If you’re going, I’m going,” said Pack simply. “Then it’s settled,” said Kt, and we all got up to go find Thomas.
That’s when the unthinkable happened.
The last remaining wall of the Coffee Shop began to collapse behind us. It didn’t break into chunks of rubble. It just fell straight down, and it was falling right where we were standing.
I remember glancing at Packer and Ktman, then looking up. The wall was almost on top of us. I closed my eyes, waiting for the impact that would end my life. And then…
Hold on. I’m getting ahead of myself, aren’t I? You probably have no idea what’s going on.
I guess I better explain how I got in this mess. Well, how all of the ACP got in this mess. I better start where we left off.
Right. I had just followed Billybob in the hopes of getting to kill Steel Shadow. That’s where I’ll start from…
