Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum: What really Grinds your Gears?

Hello, I feel like I should make a post where I can express my anger in a healthy way by posting about it on a post. If you wish to do the same, then leave a comment. Hopefully, writing about these things will keep my from shooting everyone. (Watch as the FBI comes to my house and starts raiding it as soon as I post this.)

Aggression Numero Uno: I’m angry at how school starts giving me HUGE amounts of homework everyday. I mean, isn’t the point of being my age to go out and have fun and enjoy it while we can? But no, because if I don’t turn in a Health homework or a Biology project then I may as well have gone down 2 letter grades. Teachers, deans, principals and other powers at my school preach about how “youth is wasted on the young”. Well excuse me for being a teenager and by law, having to go to school and finishing my homework so I can graduate and be somewhat a member of the world. I didn’t choose to be where I am right now, I’m not the one who decides it. Hell, I learn more on my own by reading books than I do at school. Books I read teach me way more than whatever the teachers are being payed to teach. What I hate the most is that they come to school and take out their anger on the class. We’re not the ones who caused your problems at home, we’re not the ones who didn’t make you dinner or who didn’t get you in bed that night. So stop taking out your problems on the rest of the class just because your life isn’t the way you want it, TEACHERS. News flash: Noones life is the way they want it. I wish I could be a millionaire, I wish I could get my family out of the depression problems they’re going through right now, I wish I could help out with the bills more. But I can’t, why? Because noones life is the way they want it, that’s why we struggle everyday with our personal demons and make the most of it. So teachers, apply what you try to teach us, to yourselves before you step in to that classroom and start teaching something, that YOU don’t understand.

Aggression number 2: I wish I could erase my memories. Like just erase them all. I wish there was a way to start over and be a new person. That all the pain I’ve caused, all the things that have happened to me would just go away. People look at me all the time and they seem like they expect something from me, something better. But I don’t really see how I can provide it. I wish I could talk about happy things the majority of the time and feel happier, but I can’t. I’m not a happy person, I’m a sad person. I’m a pained person. I don’t want to be that way, I don’t wish to be that way. I wish that I was happy, I envy happy people. But I’m not a happy person. Noone knows me, absolutely noone. I think my pet turtle knows what I think and feel more than what my family does. There are lots of times when I have contemplated suicide in the past. But I decided not to go through with it because I figured, if I had already done it, then I would have missed out on the good stuff that has happened to me. Movies teach me a lot, and they have probably saved my life plenty of times. Quotes like :

“When you’re down there’s no place to go but.. UP.”

”You treat a disease you win you lose. You treat a person, I guarantee you, you’ll win no matter what the outcome.”

“You’re focusing on the problem, if you focus on the problem you can’t see the solution. NEVER focus on the problem!”

“See what noone else sees… see what everyone else chooses not to see, out of fear, conformity or laziness. See the whole world anew each day!”

So yeah, I guess that pretty much sums up a bit of my anger. Until the next time.

“Si vis pacem, para bellum”.

This reminds me of the Family Guy episode when Peter gets his own segment on the news called “What grinds my gears” :P . But I guess I have some ranting to do:
    1. WHY IS OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM SO CORRUPT? I mean, someone can be the smartest person on Earth, but if they get nervous around SAT time college will never know that. And so what if someone isn’t good at school. They could have more common sense and intelligence in places other than the plain classes such as English and US History.
    2. WHY ARE POLITICS SO CORRUPT? I mean, every 4 years we have a big election and here’s how it usually goes (this is a stereotype so):
    - People choose a candidate (lets go with a Republican at first)
-People leave leader in office for 4 years
-People decide the Conservative was smart and reelect him
-By next election, the people blame the candidate for what the former president did and choose the other party (lets go Democrat for this one)
-Person stays in office for 4 years.
-People choose him again (unless he’s a total flop)
-Then they choose a Repub cause they blame him for the supposive Repub’s actions.
SEE? We all keep blaming Bush, or Obama, or Clinton, or H.W. Bush, but we never have proof. Some of the original problems from the 1700′s in America are still blamed on candidates TODAY. THAT, my peers, is how politics is corrupt.
I feel like ranting some more but then this comment might be longer than the post :P

    • Actually Bush was rotten but we reelected him so technically even if he’s a total flop we reelect them because we’re all afraid of change xD

I also don’t like the idea of reparations. (Sorry African Americans and Native Americans.) I think it’s stupid that someone would have to pay somebody else for what someone’s forefathers did to somebody’s forefathers ten thousand years ago. “OH OH SPARTA, SPARTA, OUR LOVELY NATION OF PERSIA WILL REPAY YOU FOR THE 300 WHO DIED AT THERMOPYLAE!!!” it just seems kinda… idk. Especially since the former slaves have a better life now, I’m not saying slavery is okay or kidnapping people from Africa but hey which would you rather be: The great-grandson of a slave or starving in Nigeria? Native Americans really have it bad since it’s my belief that they would have a better life had we left them alone or adapted to their ways, as we are now corrupting our atmosphere while the Native Americans got along fine without cars, TVs, computers, electricity. And with speed limits today, most horses can go 20, 30 miles an hour and I’d assume the prices of gas are sorta like feeding a horse… and a horse doesn’t pollute the atmosphere. Forgive me, I may be ignorant, but that is my opinion on the world today.

Bush was awesome. It wasn’t his fault 911 happened.
See, that was one of my aggresions, people hating others for no reason. Bush did nothing, he kept our country safe, yet people hate him, and love Obama. Let’s see what Obama is doing. He:
        1. Wasted US money for a VACATION
        2. Taking guns out of the war.
        3. Making rich people who actually WORK FOR THEIR MONEY give THEIR MONEY to people who are poor and DON’T DO ANYTHING. I mean seriously. What if your parents gave you an allowance of 100 dollars that you earned by working your butt off all summer, but then Obama comes up and makes you give it to your little brother/sister because he or she didn’t have any money, and they didn’t even do anything to earn it.
        4. He promised change, where the heck is it?

Fox: I’m not much of a politics person, but what I understand is that poor people work for what money they have. Cat, do you think poor people CHOSE to be poor? Do you think they CHOSE to lose their job? And maybe rich people don’t work for their money. Britney Spears – she’s rich. But a lot of lower-class people work a lot harder than she does. Like I said, I may be ignorant, but that’s just my opinion.

I’m Native American.. Even though, I don’t look like it. (crs)

      • Yes, well, Pinky let’s just say I have a lot of respect for your ancestors. (Even though it doesn’t really sound like it in the above comment.)

Cat, you’re wrong on ONE thing: Obama did make change. It just was BAD change lol.
I was driving the other day and I saw a hilarious bumpersticker. It read:
Hi, I’m a Male, Straight, White Republican. What else can I do to p!ss you off today? (I don’t know if p!ss goes through or not on here). Also there was one that had a basketball score panel and it had Obama’s face and had the two teams names be:
        -Things Obama fixed
        and
        -Blame on Bush

The score was 94-0, Blame on Bush UNDEFEATED

Alright, so I have something else now:
    3. WHAT IS UP WITH THE MAGIC NOT GETTING PUBLICITY?! I mean, the Cavs have lost like, 4 games already in the playoffs this year? and the lakers lost 2 already. Yet no one cares the Magic sweeped both the first AND second rounds. Now you might say that the Magic had easier teams to play, yet the lakers and cavs went against seed 8 teams. Also, here are other stats: the Magic have been 27-3 in their last 30 games and they are on an 11 game winning streak, AND 18 of those games were against teams who made the playoffs. And also, no one even PAID attention to the Magic at the beginning this year. People must be forgetting that they:
-Beat the Celtics even though they were down 3-2 (First time Celtics lost in that situation in FRANCHISE history)
-Beat the Cavs in SIX GAMES (would have been 5 but lebron made that famous buzzer beater)
-Won two games against the lakers with COURTNEY LEE, a ROOKIE, covering Kobe. That is SKILL.
-And we did all this with a rookie in our starters AND a back up point guard
Also, we are about to go to our second straight championship and whoop the lakers like we did in the regular season.
And how about Dwight Howard? He is the BEST center in the NBA, and yet people barely recognize him. And Vince Carter! He is the old guy who has found his inner youth, scoring 20+ points a game. And man, JAMEER NELSON! ON FIRE! None more needed to be said. And Rashard Lewis and Matt Barnes are doing great.
ANDDDDDDDDDDDDD the Magic were leading the poll on Sportsnation on espn.com that said what team you want to win this year, beating not only the lakers and suns, but the cavs AND celtics fans COMBINED. Ownage. So don’t you dare EVERRRRRRRRRRRR underestimate the ORLANDO MAGIC ever again.

Shab, Kids who think they are always better than you, bad sports, people who hate me for nothing, arguing between my friends, whenever my teacher tells me to stop being a tattletale after 3 kids ransacked my desk and stole my stuff, Whenever I run out of batteries on my Wii Remote (D:), trying to do things that will end up getting hated by two of my best friends (sorry Ed and Speeder), Being unmodded by shab and laughed at just because he hates me for no reason, knowing things I dream about will never happen, whenever people say my art is terrible while they draw stuff like stick figures, whenever people make fun of my singing, tangles in my hair, having to go places I don’t want to go,

Bush did what you guys, said NOTHING. Now I know cat likes Bush and my opinion will probably be looked over, but I just don’t like Bush. I don’t think he helped us much. I don’t really like any presidents since GW Bush. My personal opinion, hope you don;t hate me for it.
